Matt (a.k.a. "Bill") is a recent
graduate of Truman State University in Kirksville, Missouri. He
has been close to Adam since they joined the same fraternity
pledge class in college. They also lived together during and
after college, and they still hunt and fish together as often as
possible. |

Christy is a
research assistant at the Washington University School of
Medicine in St. Louis, Missouri, where she conducts cancer
immunotherapy research. In her spare time, Christy
loves singing in weddings and covering up for Susie's numerous
fielding errors on their summer softball team. Susie and
Adam met "Gaff" in college when she was entertaining a crowd
with her rendition of Copa Cabana. The three became
quick friends, and even after years of torment from Adam,
Christy says she still likes him. Christy resides in Creve
Coeur, Missouri. |

Heather is a
real estate agent for Coldwell Banker Gundaker in St. Peters,
Missouri, where she gets to use her exceptional people skills
every day. Heather and Adam have gotten along well as as
relatives and friends for as long as they can remember. In
fact, Heather used to come up with
creative ways to put Adam to sleep while she babysat him in his
childhood. (He’s still not to happy about that, Heather!)

Rob is a
commercial truck salesman for Lou Fusz Chevrolet. Though older
and wiser, Rob always has gotten along well with Adam. Whether
they are talking about trucks, building homes, setting food
consumption records at holiday meals, or planning weddings, Rob
and Adam always seem to have something in the works.

Shelby is an
eighth grader at PORTA Junior High in Petersburg, Illinois. When
she is not studying, she enjoys listening to music and playing
softball, volleyball, and golf. Shelby lives in Petersburg with her parents,
Kurt and Lisa, and her sister, Allie. |

Melanie is a middle school math
teacher at Monticello Middle School in Monticello, Illinois.
When she is not teaching, she enjoys riding horses, taking
pictures of her dog Gracie, and playing basketball. Susie
appreciates Melanie's experience with planning weddings,
stemming from Melanie's marriage to Susie's brother, Scott, a
year ago. |

Scott
graduated in May 2005 from law school at the University of
Illinois, and in November he will be sworn in as an attorney and
will co-found his own law firm in Bloomington, Illinois.
When he is not studying, Scott enjoys working, watching movies,
reading, and working. [Those were not typos. :-)]
Scott laughingly recalls how he frequently annoyed Susie as they
grew up together, such as when he would pretend not to
understand her training instructions as he portrayed "Flasher,"
Susie's imaginary dog. Scott and his wife Melanie live in
Champaign, Illinois. |

Kyle
(a.k.a. "Skippy") is a recent graduate of Southeast Missouri
State University in Cape Girardeau, Missouri. He and Adam
have been friends since before they can remember, having gone to
grade school and high school together. Skippy currently
teaches Business and Keyboarding at Wentzville Timberline High
School, and he coaches soccer and wrestling. Skippy loves sports
and instigating arguments (and always has).

Maggie is
Susie's second cousin. She is three years old. She enjoys dancing and tumbling at Llaina's
Dance & Gym. Maggie loves playing outside, swimming, and
attending her dad's drag races. Maggie anxiously awaits
the arrival of a new baby sister this fall, and she lives with
her parents, Mike and Michelle, in Jacksonville, Illinois. |

Pastor Dave has
served as Senior Pastor at Calvary Church for over 13 years. It
is because of many of Pastor Dave’s sermons that Adam has become
the man he is today. Dave’s wife Patty is serving as the
wedding counselor for Susie and Adam. Together, the Michelsons
are helping to prepare Susie and Adam for their marriage
journey. |

Tom is a recent
graduate of Truman State University in Kirksville, Missouri.
Adam and Tom met through the AKL Fraternity. Tom and Susie
became close while working together at a restaurant

“Kiddo." (As a result, Adam teasingly acts as if he is
Courtney's militant, overprotective father.) When she is
not studying, Courtney enjoys reading, playing soccer, and
traveling. |

Seth is a
fifth grader at Barry Elementary School in Barry, Illinois.
He is 10 years old (almost 11!). When
he is not working on his homework, he loves swimming and playing
basketball, as well as playing almost any electronic games. Seth lives
in Barry with his parents,
Michael and Jenny, and his sister, Morgan. |
